About The Artist
Joanna Michelle Fill was born in 1986 and lives in a small village in Essex, UK with her family and three cats.
She says "I have loved art ever since a young age and never stopped drawing and creating. I loved fairytales and magical stories, my favourite being The Little Mermaid. I was also facinated by the real life story of The Cottingley Fairies, where two young girls photographed themselves playin the the woods with fairies. My favourite artist at that time was Cicely Mary Barker who painted beautiful flower faires in the 1930's. As a teenager I loved Art Nouveau, and artists such as Alphonse Mucha and Botticelli. In my 20's and 30's my love of fantasy art continued, admiring artists such as Brian & Wendy Froud and Real Musgrave.
I love making my own fantasy art and hope that it will bring a little more magic to the world!
I have had M.E. (also known as C.F.S.) for over 20 years, it unfortunately limits the amount of art I can work on, but I still enjoy creating art at my own pace. For more info on M.E. check out the charities The M.E. Assosiation, and Action for M.E."
